Am I the only Reptile lover here?
i think reptiles are interesting, but i don't want any pet that requires a cage / tank / holding facility. just a personal preference. :\

Same here! Leaving them in a room in the house is one thing, but even dog crates make me feel bad. Don't like putting critters in the box.

except sometimes when someone's VERY BAD.

Dogs for me, all the way!

I like all types of animals, but dogs are definitely my favourite. I can't imagine my life without a dog in it. I have a rather lazy greyhound, and he's simply my pride and joy!

We've always had cats. A few dogs thrown in the "mix".... but predominately cats. A bf of mom's a long time ago had fish.

A friend of mine had a ferret until about 2 years ago.

I get along with pets just fine, but really the only ones I find intriguing are children. That's probably because they're the most dangerous and danger is my middle name.

I voted multiple. I have a Boxer that I love and can't image living without, dogs are the possibly the best animals on the planet IMO. Also, my brother has a Ball Python, and even though it's not mine, I still think it's pretty cool. The one advantage the snake has over my dog is the cost of food. One or two feeder mice per month is much less than 50 lbs of kibble... Oh, and snakes are also cool because they don't bark and chew on the sofa.

Cats are the best.

Wow. When I first saw this, I figure the huge love of cats was a statistical anomoly (not a big enough set). But it's staying there.

I agree with that, BTW, I just find it odd to see so many other cat people.

I noticed that too. I read recently in the news that cats were surpassing dogs as the most common pet in America, but the ratio was still very close. There seems to be a slight correlation between cat lovers and message boards related to d20/DnD.

Why don't more dog lovers hang out here?

Is this a statistic that is reflected throughout the RPG community or is it skewed by the online factor?
