So over on the WoTC boards there's rumor (based on what one of the prgramers said) that there's somethin' a brewin today. That we might want to check out the WoTC site around 10am PST...

In other news though there is going to be a compendium outage from 7am - 8am PST

Actually, the Compendium thing has to do with updating the SQL Server version .

That said, I'm hoping they sneak attack us with a CB update complete with Essentials and everything.

Don't know about links but when I launched CB a few minutes ago, it indicated that there was an update. I had already done the One toward the end of September, so this must be new. Unfortunately it got to 50%, then they downed the server.

His statement is: "Eheh...

If I were to show up tomorrow, and I'm not saying I will or not, I would choose a leisurely hour, like, say, 10am PST. Or shortly thereafter."

So not a lot... but he's been hinting at working at the web tools, and the other day mentioned being happy with his work...


I don't have anything to back this up, but I also seem to remember when the MB dropped, shortly before we had a delayed update, and then silence about when it would update and then BAM update + MB... Which quickly made everyone happy again.

So I'ma guess that we're going to get another bam, to make us alllll forget the pain of late updates.

My subscription lapsed and I had been intending to renew it in time for the star pact article scheduled for later this week. But this rumor pushed me over the edge.

I hope I didn't screw up by resubbing during an update ...

I haven't yet gotten access to DDI - does it take a day or two for the subscription to kick in? (I have to laugh, because I've been a subscriber since day 1, so I haven't had to deal with this before!)

Weird, I just launched it and it said up to date (not that the server was down like normal)
