Posting the same topic on two different forums: go or no-go?

I've been posting Modern house rules questions on the "House Rules" board, but I was wondering if it would be completely verboten to post the same topic on the "d20 System et al" board as well.

I was thinking on might get more (and more helpful) responses if these posts are in front of the Modern crowd - or do you think the Modern gamers also peruse the House Rules board enough that I shouldn't worry about it?

You could post in Rules and then post a link in the d20 Modern forum.

I sometimes post monsters both in my campaign's Rogues Gallery thread and in their own thread in Homebrew.
