One suggestion if you want to keep bounded accuracy and low level mooks viable.
+X weapon; deals +Xd6 extra damage
+X armor: reduces ALL damage by 2X
for saves: give cloak/ring ability to gain proficiency in nonproficient save after attunement. Change at short rest if needed.
Im kinda using BG3 templates. Extra d4 rarely d6 extra damage with rares.
1 maybe rare item will drop tier 1. End of tier 2 each PC has 2 and very rares are dropping. Weaker legendaries might drop if quest related.
Doesn't mean a weapon though. +1 armor is rare. PCs dont choose though.
I wont be dropping vicious dual wielding or greatweapons. Maybe for last sessions.
