Predicting the joy of Paragon tier

People are forgetting the fact that we know there's racial Paths, aren't they?
Wasn't that an option that was originally considered and then discarded in favor of having just racial feats?

I said it before, but I'd really like to start a game at paragon level. Even in 3E, the most fun I had was at 10th-17th.

Yeah. I really like this idea. Paragon / Epic games. I never really enjoyed earlier editions until 8th or higher. :)

I think he's talking about Paragon Paths with racial requirements, not the actual racial paths that were considered earlier in the design process.

My understanding is that there won't be any race-specific paragon paths in the PHB, but there might be in later supplements.

Given that Epic play looks like it'll work much easier too, I think we might see a larger number of Paragon or Epic Convention games - turn up and pick up a 11th or 21st level character (or higher) and off you go.

Personally, always having to play low level characters in Con games was always a slight disappointment for me...

Ahem. Although, yes, there may be no class specific ones in the PHB, although I personally expect Dwarven Defender and Bladesinger to be honest.
