Prestige Classes that are "super" versions of normal classes

Not being familiar with the prestige class, is there some reason the frenzied berserker couldn't voluntarilly fail his save? That would be basically accepting help in calming down, wouldn't it?

Well, since he cannot do any sort of mental or concentration type skills and has to start attacking friends once there are no more foes, I wouldn't allow him to make a decision to volunatarily fail a save.

Oh okay thanks for the Archmage input.

How about for the Psions/Wilders? Any really good prestige classes for them? And Soulknives? And divine spontaneous casters?

For those of you who care only if something is right by RAW, this combo doesn't work. I can't dispute that. However, I for one don't give a flying... um... pie. :P

As all of the Rage-based feats in the CW mention that they work with Frenzy... I've always assumed that Rage-based feats from other sources did too. Perhaps this would be a "House Rule". Just another case of RAW kicking the spirit of the law in the teeth.
This is highly debatable, because Righteous Wrath is, well, exalted, and exalted feats are uniquely sensitive to moral considerations. Taking an exalted feat means adhering to a very high moral standard that might preclude learning how to enter a screaming blood frenzy during which you're less of a person and more of a wild engine of destruction. Channeling your anger into strength to fight evil, which Righteous Wrath lets you do, might not relate to frenzied berserking.

And if we're really worrying about the spirit of the rules, we might say that the "spirit" of Righteous Wrath -- in terms of what makes the feat worth taking -- is that neat fear effect in the first paragraph, and the rest is pretty much gravy. The "spirit" of the feat isn't to give exalted frenzied berserkers a nifty workaround.
