[PROPOSAL] The non-negative min-maxer: "Tweaker"

You forgot Drama Queens.

Drama Queens are players who write 10 pages of backstory for thier character. Their character is usually angsty and brooding, with some kind of tragedy in their past that they don't like to talk about. Drama Queens will often create intentionally weak characters to spite the "munchkins" and "min/maxers" that they hate so badly. Drama Queens get irritated by anybody who dosen't act in-character, and they can get downright pissed if another player cracks a joke during a moment that is supposed to be dramatic. Drama Queens don't like it when their character isn't the focus of the story, and will often try to steal the spotlight from other players if the current story arc dosen't revolve around them.

Damnit, you're playing in my Ironclaw game, aren't you? :)

Heh!

Well, I'm DMing a Forgotten Realms campaign and playing in a Scarred Lands campaign, but I don't think I'm involved in any Ironclaw games. :)

Ironclaw is a non-d20 game, a little older than 3rd edition I think...

Anyhow, the brooding, angsty traggic-filled life fits my character, though it's the first time I ever created such a character. I actually pulled him out of the game to go kill some personal demons of his away from the rest of the campaign. :)

I find that I'm a Tweaker, even when I don't mean to be.. Tough I Roleplay as well as anyone in my group, put my blood sweat and tears into the storyline, and stop having fun the moment another player isn't having a good time, I compulsively min/max, have never created a single-classed character, and plan out my character's possible progressions out to 20th level and beyond.

I help other players min/max, though I'll back off if they don't want/need my assistance. I've made NPC's for my GM, designed to wipe the floor with my party, because I'm better at it than he. I hate math, but I'm not happy unless I'm working with something numerical, even if the numbers aren't high. I don't want to be the center of attention (unless that's how plot goes), and I don't need to be a Combat Monster, I just want to make my character the very best they can be.

When I can plan out a character with base saves no less than 13, and a +15 class bonus to AC, I know I've done my job.

- Kemrain the Tweaker, and Proud of it.

I'd love to try an Ironclaw game, but I've found that, locally, even among gamers, Furries are despised even more than Mimes. Lynch mobs, and all that.. I have my dreams, though... *grin*

Hehe, come onto the #ironclaw channel on fur.net sometime.
panther.furnet.org port 6667 on IRC. A few of us play there, though the one game that's going on now is both full and rather homoerotic. We can get enough people together for a second, more tame game though. :)
