D&D General Psionic species and subspecies, will they make a comeback too?

With WoTC deciding to make another attempt to create the Psion class, I find myself wondering if we might also see a return of psionic species and subspecies to 5e. Before 5e, 3e had psionic versions of the Githyanki, Githzerai and Duergar in its' Expanded Psionics Handbook plus several new ones such as the Xeph, the Synad and Maenad. 4e even had psionic constructs, the Shardmind.

Who else wants to see a return of psionic species/subspecies to D&D?

5e already brought back the Ghostwise Halflings and Half-Giants (Goliaths). I'd like to see a Human variant (natural Psychic)

I also think they should actually try making Flumphs as a PC species option as they're also sort of Psionic themed, I certainly have my own ideas on how I'd implement them.

But I actually want to see WotC try it, just so I can see if they'll commission art for a Flumph Paladin in Plate Armor, I want to see some drawing of what looks like a flying saucer with 2 eyes sticking out and tentacles.

They could definitely have psionic gem dragonborn.

And if the Psion class isn't solely for a Dark Sun book, but for something more general, I'd definitely like to see variants of the gem dragons more heavily focused on psionics similar to this system.

I'd just run with a Goliath replacing 'Giant Ancestry' with a choice of one Wild Talent Feat.
