Quentin Tarantino is a crazy man!

I wonder if someone put him – Tarantino – on Ritalin, or secretly switched his coffee with decaf, would he even makes movies. At times, he seems almost manic.

The other two I could see an argument for, but when has Scorsese ever come across as arrogant? Every time I've ever seen him he's been one of the humblest, low-key directors out there.

I hear that Tarantino's next movie is going to be a WW2 film, which has me leary. Maybe he is getting too cocky.

Or else it is something like SS Doomtrooper but with better effects. Now that could be part of Grindhouse II.

All Bay and Ratner have done so far is make big-budget Hollywood stinkers that somehow turn a profit. I'm just hoping Transformers isn't a total suck-fest.
On Ratner, despite the fact that he's a soso director at best, I've actually enjoyed some of his films. Both Rush Hour movies were enjoyable fluff, while X-3 was decent for the most part, but nothing compared to the first two. But then the idiot has to go and mouth off how his films have outgrossed Spielberg's recent work, and how he's occasionally seen dating hot models and actresses. It's that kind of Hollywood narcissism that really galls me. :\

Bay on the other hand, I'm more than happy to despise. He's an overblown blowhard who constantly boasts how much his flicks have grossed and that critics are just jealous of his success. So you can imagine how much of a pleasure it was to see him get all defensive over The Island's underwhelming box office and that he wasn't to blame. :]

And for the record, I hope Transformers doesn't bomb. Fans of the series certainly don't need their dreams to be shattered. But if it does bomb though, I'm more than happy to join in on the HATE BAY bandwagon. :)

You wouldn't be referring to Inglorious Bastards, would you? Because I do believe that's been in the works for a while.

At the very least, I might be able to listen to him without having to suppress the urge to reach through the screen and chock the living #### out of him.

t he looks and acts like he spent most of his youth in a basement reading comics, watching 70s ninja movies and playing D&D.

Actually, if you add "and watched a wide selection of movies, from bad to avant-garde" then you might not be too far off.

I remember an interview with either John Travolta or him that discussed him selecting John for Pulp Fiction. John came to his house and Quentin insisted that he play the "Welcome Back Kotter" board game with him and act in character. Very "super fan boy."
