Quentin Tarantino is a crazy man!

Must you always be so flippant my good man? :p
When it comes to Tarentino's behavioral condition, yes.

Besides, there's no way Michael Bay could ruin one's whole experience with Transformers. You need only watch the two previous Transformers anime-style TV series to get the hack job done.

One more point to defend Michael Bay: he's no Courtney Solomon. (Yes, I'm bringing his name up over again.)

P.S. Martine Scorsese isn't that bad a director. He just yet to direct a sci-fi/fantasy genre film that I could possibly like. ;)

Ya know, if he were to do a sci-fi/fantasy genre film, it would involve the elvish mafia or criminal street gangs on the moon or something.

Hrmm... Maybe someone needs to get him to do The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress. Not a perfect fit, but certifiably a closer match than anything else I am aware of.

And as for Quintin, assuming in the interviews he is not simply putting on a persona or tweaking with weed or adrenalin, then I honestly think something may be wrong with the man.

Well I certainly can't argue with that. I think with being a fan of Transformers in general, nostalgia plays a big part in enjoying those old Generation 1 cartoons. But I cannot for the life of me watch them anymore, as they're absolutely cheesy and much too dumb for my taste (with the exception of Optimus Prime, who's still one of the best robot characters ever for me). The animated movie's not much better either. I'm still wondering what kind of drugs I was on when I watched and liked it as a kid. :)

Well, I'm not gonna defend Solomon either, but I'd rather watch any hack job of his than Bay''s any day of the week. At least he doesn't go around town boasting how awesome he is, something Bay does with annoying regularity.

I'd definitely be interested in any scifi or fantasy flick Scorsese directs. But I don't think we'll be seeing that anytime soon, if ever. :\

How about Varley's The Golden Globe? The Charonese mafia play a significant part in the story.

Quintin, along with all his rowdy friends, was on the Tyra show today. He almost seemed subdued. But some of the stories the others told about him were funny and odd.

Honestly, I haven't heard much of Michael Bay. Just Jerry Bruckheimer. I once suspected they're one and the same.
