Ok, this may be a simple question that I am just not getting, but I thought that this would be the best place to ask peoples opinions.
When figuring our the standard ability scores for a race, be it monster or playable, what is the generaly accepted meathod?
By which I mean,
If you have a small or large creature, do you figure the base stats, from a general average of 10 for the race (ie; its really smart comparitively, really strong, really quick witted, ect.) then apply any size related adjustments (ie; strength, dexterity, ect). or do you factor in the size related adjustments when you are figuring out the standard racial scores.
I am working on creating a verry small (tiny) creature, and am unsure as to the best (and or most accepted) method to approach this aspect of the creation process.
