1. I know... 7. Yeah, seven layout artists outside the RPG industry.

2. Nope. Zilch. Nada. Not a pickle. Never bothered to look to be honest.

3. 1, but it will be done half-way, unscrewed, screwed in a different way 'just to see how it works' and then screwed in upside down at least once, lost, found, recycled and finally done exactly two minutes AFTER it was vitally important that it be done.

1) Since my day job is also marketing/layout, quite a few. I'd guess 10+.
2) Layout specific? None. But the International Association of Business Communicators (www.iabc.com) is a more general assocation that's great for professional networking. It's not cheap to join, though.
3) None. Most of the time we work in the dark!

1) Since I'm currently working outside of the games industry all the layout artists I know are outside it Which makes the number around about 7.

2) None that are design or prepress specific.

1) Depends on your definition of the term "layout artist". Between 5 (narrow definition) and a few dozens (broad definition).

2) Nope (at least no specific layout artist associations). And no (although I'm in a trade union...).
