Racial flex stats are up!

They also forgot Bullywugs, Duergar, and Kenku... probably some others. Orcs? Goblins?

These are not PC races and it's pretty clear Wizards has moved away from supporting them (given that MM3 and MV didn't waste page space on adding more NPC 'stats').

To be honest, my biggest surprise was they remembered Kalashtar.

I'm actually kind of sad about gnomes. Now they really are just shorter eladrin :(

I was hoping for int + cha/con; a little retro, since they used to be a +con race. I guess with both warforged and genasi getting int/con though, they thought that was already too many. And really, I can't think of a better one for warforged (but I think genasi could have been +dex instead).

Oh well.

Amusingly, with the ILLEGAL continued development of the offline builder, it is working with the new stats already. ;)

There I fixed your statement for you.

Mod Edit: Technically, it is not illegal - it is in violation of license agreement, which is not the same thing as breaking the law. So, you didn't fix the statement, you provided misinformation yourself. Good job!

Also, technically, "fify" is considered rude around here. Please in the future refrain from making it look like someone said something they did not. Doubly so if you are going to be factually incorrect when you do it. Thanks. ~Umbran

Illegal or not, it's a fact.

I don't necessarily condone it, of course, nor did I tell anyone publicly where this information is available. A 5-second google search will do more than I can in 5 posts.

I pointed it out to illustrate the relative ineptitude of WotC and their update process, compared to a small group of dedicated fans using discarded technology.

Take from that what you will.

Nothing illegal about it at all. If you paid for your DDI subscription you're perfectly well within your rights to continue to use the old CB. If you want to hack your version there's nothing at all wrong with that either. You might want to actually check out what they've done, it is simply a set of files you can download, none of which are covered by any IP owned by WotC. No issues with DMCA either since there are no anti-circumvention measures present in the software. They may be kicking themselves, but if they didn't want people doing this stuff they messed up.
