You should put 2 charges on Heal, since otherwise this might as well be a 50 ch wand of heal. If it is more charges for a heal, pc's might consider using its other abilities instead.

I have a staff in my game called the Staff of the Acloyte
Cure light wounds 2ch
sanctuary 1 ch
Bless 1 ch

its a little less than 6k. It is given to journyman priests to teach the value of the more subtle spells avalible.

Wizards have a comperable staff, with magic missle, mage armor and silent image. With Magic missle costing 2 ch but cast at 9th level.

I don't think Heal can be made into a wand. 3.5 has been following a trend of only allowing certain spells to be put in wands. I don't believe Heal is one of them.

Wands can only support up to 4th level spells, so you are correct.

Ok, cost adjusted for component and XP cost.

Healing (Greater): This white ash staff, with inlaid golden runes, allows use of the following spells:
  • Cure Moderate Wounds, Mass (1 charge)
  • Heal (2 charges)
  • Greater Restoration (4 charges)
Strong Conjunction; CL 15th; Craft Staff, heal, mass cure moderate wounds, greater restoration; Price 70925gp

And my math, so you may correct me.

Masterwork Quarterstaff (300gp)
XP Cost ((XPx50x5)/#of charges to activate) 500x50x5=125000/4= 31250
Primary Spell: GR (375xspell levelxcaster level) 375 x 7 x 15 = 39375
Devide in half for each doubling of the charge cost. (4 charges, devide in half twice)
=9843.75
Secondary Spell: Heal (375xspell levelxcaster levelx.75) 375x6x15x.75= 25312.5
Takes 2 charges to activate = 12656.25
Tertiary Spell: CMWM (375xspell levelxcaster levelx.5) 375x6x15x.5= 16875

31250 + 9843.75 + 12656.25 + 16875 +300 = 70925gp

It takes 70-71 days to make, and costs 35463gp+9087xp to create

Thanks CZ :)

Yes I know, a wand of heal is out.
but in my mind staves are articfacts of rare power that represent a wizard/priest at the top of his game. The crunch of 3.5 supports this by saying basically "so you think you could cast it better? go ahead. "
If the staff is only used for one power it looses the unique excitement of the item, it might as well be a flavorless wand. They are usefull I will admit that, but nothing special.

As to the latest revison - the cure moderate for 1 charge or heal for two that looks like a tough decision, both have their uses and drawbacks ;) but is anyone going to burn off 4 charges off this lovely item for a greater restore? a normal restore costs 100gp per spell
and almost as good - heal would fix almost anything this misses the only exception I found is 1 drained level instead of all drrained levels, but you could burn 4 ch of restore or one greater.

so its price would be
Masterwork Quarterstaff (300gp)

GP cost 100*50 = 5000
Primary Spell: CMWM (375xspell levelxcaster level) 375x6x15 =33750
Secondary Spell: Heal (375xspell levelxcaster levelx.75) 375x6x15x.75= 25312.5
Takes 2 charges to activate = 12656.25
Tertiary Spell: Restoration (375xspell levelxcaster levelx.5) 375x4x15x.5= 11250

Total 75,612 gp value to create (37,306 gp +3012 xp)
- 4000 gp less base price if you make heal the primary spell.
Ow. well I must have gone wrong some where.

P.S. oooh your caster level is only 11th (no 7th lvl spells) but I am to tired to refigure math.
erm why did you use 15th? you could have used 13th instead. If the wielder is higher level he can use it instead anyway.
EDIT : Aprox 55,000 base price - this I would use in a game, cept I don't paly many high lvl games.

Let's see what my math says.

First, let's start with the base price:
In order to get that, let's calculate the non-discounted base prices of the included spells. I'll use a caster level of 13, since we don't have any spells above 7th level in the staff.
Greater Restoration: 7*13*750/4 = 17,062.5
Heal: 6*13*750/2 = 29,250
Mass Cure Moderate Wounds: 6*13*750 = 58500

With a 25% discount for the second most expensive spell and a 50% discount for the third and following most expensive ones, we get:
58,500 + 29,250*.75 + 17,062.5*.5 = 88,968.75. Let's round that off to 89,000

This base price then gives us a couple of values:
Component cost: Base price / 2 = 44,500
Time taken: Base price / 1,000 = 89 days
Base XP cost: Base price / 25 = 3,560

In addition to these base costs, we have the following additional costs:
Masterwork staff: 600 gp
XP cost for Greater Restoration: 500 XP * 50 charges / 4 charges per use = 6,250 XP

This gives us a total cost to create of:
Gold: Component cost plus cost of MW staff = 44,500 + 600 = 45,100
XP: Base XP cost plus extra for Greater Restoration = 3,560 + 6,250 = 9,810

And finally the market price:
Base price + extra components + 5* extra XP = 89,000 + 600 + 5*6,250 = 120,850
