Rays, Ranged Touch Attack and Range Modifiers

Hi All,
I was wondering if you could help me out. I am trying to determine the Range Increment for a Ray which uses the Ranged Touch Attack mechanism. What is the Range Attack Increment for a Ray attack? Can you help me? Thanks.

Rays don't have Range Increments. They strike up to the limit of their range with no penalty, and beyond that they don't work at all.

It will be in the "Range" entry of the spell. There are no increments. The target is either in range or it is not.

Rays do not have range increments. They can be used up to the limit of their range with no penalty. So, for example, a Disintegrate spell (100+10 ft/lvl range) by a 15th lvl caster can be used on a target up to 250 ft away, with no penalty. A target beyond 250 ft cannot be affected.

Yeah. You're better off throwing halflings - they get a +1 racial bonus as thrown weapons.

Now I have the image of a Hulking Hurler throwing a Master Thrower Halfing who is tossing daggers everywhere before he hits...
 


Heh. Someone needs to stat up Ray and Mirv for the next Cooperative Dungeon.

Possibly incorporating the Symbiote Creature template from Savage Species :)
