[re-opened for recruiting] Generic low-level fun (3.5)

Rhun:[/b] I like what I see so far, but I need to make a point of one thing. Your background describes Zazz as a "troublemaker"... I don't think that everyone has to be LG, and troublemaking can be a fun character trait, but I don't want Zazz to make trouble within the party. I want the party members to all play well with each other. So long as that's the case, some mischief could be a lot of fun. :D

When I said troublemaker, I guess I should have clarified. I meant more that he tends to get into trouble with the law and such, not that he would cause problems within the party. Hope that helps explain a bit. You won't have to worry about him causing any issues within the party. :D

question.. it's been sooo long sense I've done this PbP thing... what's the coding for changing font again?

You write it like this {color=orange}"Here is some speech."{/color} , but replace the brackets with square brackets. (Of course, you can use any number of colors, not just orange. Somewhere on the site there is a list of all available colors, but you can just pick one of the common colors and chances are it will be available.)

When done right, it ends up looking like this: "Here is some speech."

Sounds good. That's pretty much what I figured you meant, but I just wanted to be certain. Sounds like a fun character.

As promised, heres my character concept.

Description: Tara Caine is one of the few survivors of an ancient warrior society. Her village committed to a war that ended up destroying them, leaving her to wander the wilderness alone, filled with the thirst of battle and combat expertise she had been raised with, but had yet to test. When she had at last come into contact with society once more, she was an oddity, and outcast among normal people. But when evil came to that land in the form of a tribe of orcs, her ferocity and bloodlust brought her fame and glory as she charged heedlessly into battle after battle. Most companions she encounters are stunned by her reckless nature, as she felt no fear, would challenge anyone who got in her way, and wore no form of protection. However, fears about her personality and character are swept away by her pure heart and strong sense of righteousness.

Appearance: Tara is a short, lithe woman, but her muscular form gives no doubts about her strength. Her face has sharp, menacing features, her eyes emerald green, her hair fiery red, features that could be traced back though most of her village. She wears only a black wrap across her chest and plain, black leather pants, paired with a belt pouch. Her only other possesion being the Halberd she carries around with her. She prefers to live off the land, using her instincts and childhood training.

I've got two concepts I wouldn't mind trying, one would require DM permission as it's from one of the 'other' sources (Complete Arcane)... I've been wanting to play a low-level Warlock. The other would be an Unarmed fighter, but not one of those 'finesseful martial artists'.. we're talking Boxer/UFC style fighting. "Kickem where it hurts cuz I've had a hard life and don't take crap from anyone who aint my friend"

another question while I'm thinking about it... how are you all doing that neat 'hide' 'show' thing where it hides and shows text typed?... it must be new sense I've returned to enworld.....

Appearance: Norbrit keeps his long red hair and beard loose and tangled--and dirty; like most dwarves baths are few and far between. He is gruff in both appearance and attitude, and sees no need in wasting time pondering over a situation when you can just kick down a door and see what's on the other side.

Background: After some family disagreements in Clan Nogginsplitter, Norbrit has decided to take a break from it all and venture out on his own. He's sure he'll go back some day, but in the long life of a dwarf, that could still be some years off.

Darimaus: Nice character!

Jemal: Much as I'd like to have a Warlock in the party, I do not have Complete Arcane, so this isn't really feasible. The unarmed fighter type could be cool, but I'd need to see how you'd do it. Having a good fighting character will be important, so I want to make sure your concept would not be underpowered.

industrygothica: Good character! I like it.

Rathan: It's called sblock, and you format it like this {sblock}Here is some hidden text.{/sblock} , except using square brackets instead of regular brackets. Like this: [sblock]Here is some hidden text.[/sblock]
If you want it to say something besides "Spoiler", you put it right in the tag. For example, I sometimes like to use sblock for OOC discussion, like this {sblock=OOC}Here is some OOC discussion.{/sblock} , which ends up looking like this: [sblock=OOC]Here is some OOC discussion.[/sblock]
