Assuming that you are opening this to new submission, I'm interested. I have two characters I would like to resurrect and submit for consideration. If that isn't too cheeky. They are both from previous games that died. I would love to see them given a second chance.

PERSONALITY: Rain is a tearaway, seeming driven by a desire to test her limits. She is not an exceptional person, slight of frame and slightly poor of health. But what she lacks she makes up with sheer determination and an apparent complete lack of fear. Sometimes its enough, sometimes it isn't, and she has numerous scars to prove it.
Generally she is a fairly cheerful person, except when the routines of militia life begin to drag. She has a tendency to directness that has got her into trouble now and then.
Rain has a taste for fine things. Her cloak is trimmed with fur, and her militia jerkin is made of the finest material, decorated with the militia crest and motto and fastened with worked silver buttons.
BACKGROUND: Rain, along with her brother Eleorn were found as babies in the woods about half a day out of Ashbenford. Nearby was found the ruins of a raided camp of Moon elves. There were no survivors. The two children were fostered with one of the local moon elf families. Inquiries were made as to who the children were, but nothing was ever discovered. Given the divesting Drow raids on Cormanthar at the time, it wasn't considered surprising. Given that many of the Elves were sending their children to Evermeet and other safer locations at the time, it was assumed that this is where the party of Moon elves was heading.
Rain's foster family lived in a sprawling homestead a couple of miles out of Ashbenford. The new family consisted of their parents and their own son, some 35 years older than the Rain and Eleorn, an a couple of aunties and uncles, and two cousins. The family mainly grew timber for the boatyards, specialising in shaped wood for keels and prows. They also ran sheep and goats, the wool from which was woven and sold in town. Between school and helping out on the farm, the two children were kept busy, and largely out of trouble.[/sblock]
Rain is probably a little underpowered. I asked to roll her stats, and this is what I got. She clocks in at a 14 PB. The game was actually a first level game, but the GM leveled her up to keep her from dying.

Appearence
Hoegor is a little shorter and leaner than most Barbarians. He has a stern face, slightly craggy features set around a classic roman nose. But he easily breaks into a smile in conversation.
Hoegor continues to wear the traditional barbarian fur cloak. Underneath he wears a jacket and wool pants. His long hair is pulled back and tied with rag and plastered with white mud in the tradition of his people.
Everything he has has a slightly old, out of style look. His short sword and spear are much the same as his ancestors would have used when the Barbarians were ransacking the Old Empire. Most of his stuff is indeed old, handed down through his family, maintained and repaired, tried and tested.
If come across while travelling, Hoegor will as likely be found moving on foot, with his horse and dogs in tow.
Background
Hoegor father was a member of a Barbarian guard, and as soon as Hoegor was old enough he followed his father's footsteps. Not a particularly capable fighter, he relies on his wits and speed to prevent others from getting the jump on him in combat. These skills made him quite effective as a guard.
Hoegor developed a real respect for the loyal, gentle, massive Mastiffs that helped guard the castle and animals. He spent a considerable amount of time with the Kennel Master developing his skills at training dogs. He bought and trained two puppies of his own - Storm and Teeth. He often spent days roaming the hills and forests around the city when they got old enough.
Hoegor also got drawn into the politics of the city and he stumbled across a plot against his guard's patron, and while he was unable to prevent the assination of the patron, his knowledge enabled the guards to protect the family and ensure the son's succession.
In return Hoegor was offered many things, but he reqested to be given a year to travel the world. It was granted. Before leaving, Hoegor purchased an aging Warhorse, Godsfoot, from one of the Captains of the Cavalry. Godsfoot got his name from his ability to keep his feet and flatten foes in battle. Two days later, in the cold halflight of dawn, he slipped through the gates with his horse and two massive dogs, and was gone. That was a month ago.[/sblock]
Hah. I thought Hoegor was level 3. He should fit straight out of the box. Except that he will need some stat pruning.
If either of these get past initial screening, I will bring them into line with the CharGen notes on the first page. Although I would actually like to keep Rain's stats.
