"Remember, our comm transmitter is damaged and we're communicating by the old flash code. We already decided that we need repairs, but they'll ask how we were damaged. We should also have a reason why we need the latest clearance codes." Jonas had suited up in the full Stormtrooper gear, but left the helmet off for now.

Jonas typed a quick message into the comms console for the computer to translate into flash code. "This is Imperial Transport *insert name/ID code* coming from *insert origin*. Our comms transmitter is damaged and we need repairs. Request permission to board nearest capital ship for maintanence."

"I'll leave it to you specialistst to figure out what to put in those blanks. Be sure to turn off the audiovisual transmitter for real. We don't want them to override it and get a clear picture of a bunch of aliens sitting on board an Imperial owned vessel." He said to the Duros.

“We are on, let's hope they fall for the bluff.”

Anxiously, Lyss waits for the events to unfold themselves.

Major Trual'Nuin - Duros 3rd. level Noble

Trual'Nuin hastily dons a stormtrooper armor, and puts the helmet on, to hide that he is a duros.

- "Before working for the Rebellion I was a bureaucrat, and I was used to create false documents and papers for aliens to go by in the Empire."

Using his datapad, he searches for names and ID codes that would appear credible, yet ancient.

- "Okay, here it is: we are the Forward Seeker UH 138-04 from Base UH-04 in the Telonax (minor) system. They are almost true clearance codes from one of a hundred small imperial outposts that are regularly created and dismantled as to fill some local needs. Even if they don't find us in their databases, they can have a doubt and believe us. Here is what I suggest we lie to them: we are after an alien who hacked our database back in Telonax and stole some important information. We thought he might have gone to Tatooine to sell those info, and we are trying to catch him there before he does. We have brought two other aliens with us, that could help us identify him. And hum... these are imperial info, but of a truly lesser importance so those ones here shouldn't feel to help us more than the minimum. And lastly! We were attacked by the one we are now tracking down."

Trual'Nuin inserts the false identity in the computer and prepares to send it into flash code.

- "Well, lets the force help us and that they believe the bluff!"

Then, if nobody else has something to say, Trual'Nuin presses the button so the flash code is emmitted.

Dol just hopes that this will work as he searches the star studded sky for those blips of light moving toward them on the intercept course.

The transmission was sent, and there was a long silence in the cockpit as you slowly continued to approach the desert planet. Now, you could clearly see at least two Imperator-class Star Destroyers, and multiple other smaller ships of various types. It was a very serious blockade.

And then the comm beeped and the voice of the Imperial Officer returned, "Transmission acknowledge, Forward Seeker UH 138-04. However, I must inform you that by order of Moff Granis, no ships, Imperial or otherwise, are permitted to set down on Tatooine without his direct authorization or the correct clearance codes. You are to power down your sublight drives and prepare to meet with a boarding party."

Then the comm clicked off abruptly. With the sensors still bright with movement and ships, you were finally able to pinpoint many of the smaller signals visually. And from the looks of it, a group of six TIE fighters was moving straight for you.

Selus places one of his hands on the short bar that will, in it's time of need, grow to six feet. He nods. "Now we prepare to be boarded," he says in that monotone voice that only a machine that could produce.

“Well, we will have to follow through with our bluff now. There's little else we can do, but hope that they give us clearance. Maybe we should consider to have the non-humans, well, myself excluded, of course, hidden somewhere and leave the part with the aliens out; I'm not sure how they will react to them. It could just make our position more difficult to believe and tip the balance against us. What do you think?”

"Bad idea." Jonas said, pausing to take another bite of jerky. "The duros already told them that we have two aliens with us. If we back out on that and they find you hiding, it'd be a sure sign that we're up to something suspicious. That's usually when people start getting dead." He put on the stormtrooper helm and adjusted it into a somewhat comfortable position. "We stick to the plan, unless you'd prefer a visit to a pain amplifier."

He pointed to Trual'Nuin. "You, take off the stormtrooper outfit. Selus, you stow it away in storage. In case they ask, it's a spare. Lyss, having an Imperial Officer on board would lend us some credibility, if that's not too hard for you. That way we have an officer in charge of the mission, the officer's physician, two alien hirelings, and a soldier to keep them in check." Jonas charged his rifle, both to be ready, and to discourage any argument. "I know these Imperials from the inside out. My job on this mission is not just the firepower, but the intel. In any Imperial entanglements, I'm in charge."
