Rebel Alliance: Freedom Fighters II

Lt. Lyss Arkess, SpyNet infiltrator

Lyss just shrugs.

“Sorry, I have no other idea, how we could get down there. Forcing our way is a guaranteed failure, and it seemed like this Imperial did believe our story and he had the look of someone fairly important; if they don't even let us down now, they are not letting anyone down at all.”

Trual'Nuin looks puzzled

- "I wonder what's so important with that crappy little backwater world to have them block it like this. I cannot believe that the empire would bother about a little den of thugs and scoundrels..."

"How many escape pods do we have? Maybe we can blow this shuttle up and get there via escape pods. If we time it right, it might throw the imps off for a while to what really happened." Dol says, not really believing it would work but with no other ideas being thrown out, he figured, 'what the frak?'

"They are obviously here for the B-Wing. I find it hard to believe that they have not uncovered it already, perhaps some of the locals have sold it to the Hutts." He paused. "If that's the case, it would explain the difficulty the Empire is experiencing in retrieving it, and their complete blockade of the system."

((Note on the Escape Pods: You've got two, which would easily fit all of you.))

Only a few minutes after the Imperial Assault Shuttle left for the blockade, the sensors quickly picked up another approaching ship. It was about the same size, but looked to be a smaller, less heavily armed shuttle. Definitely Imperial, but they weren't saying a thing over the comm, just coming towards you.

It was probably the tech crew that the previous Officer had mentioned sending over, but it was at least slightly odd that the comm was remaining silent.

Trual'Nuin has a paranoid crisis... or maybe it's a brilliant insight? Anyway he says to the others:

- "I really don't like this... Hey you all, prepare for a possible fight, with weapons hidden but ready! Even if they just look like a repair crew, stay alert until they leave!"

Then thinking a little bit more about it:

- "Maybe we could do something with them. Capture them and use their ship as a sort of Trojan Horse?"

Dol shrugs. No one said a word about his idea so he figured it really must have been stupid. What did he know anyway. He was just a rookie pilot with one mission under his belt. These guys had spent more time fighting the imps. He unbuttoned the latch on his holster to allow quicker access to his blaster and tried to wiggle his way a little farther back into the cabin, but not so much that he didn't look like a pilot monitoring the instrumentation.

((Just a note that I am now completely back from vacation and should be back to updating regularly. I know this game survived one huge slowdown and I'm not giving up on it now either. You guys all still here?))

Trual'Nuin prepares his blaster, hidden under his wide clothing, and waits anxiously.
