Return of Creature by Poll - Poll #9 (alignment)

Pick our creatures alignment:

Shade

Monster Junkie
Now that we've determined that our creature is an "anti-inevitable", what shall it's alignment be?

Should it be lawful neutral like the other inevitables, but follow a different approach?

Should if be chaotic neutral and be their polar opposite?

Should it be of some other alignment?

Also, keep in mind the words that define it, including:

maelstrom: A powerful, destructive whirlpool; a violent, disordered, or turbulent state of affairs.

Then again, "irrefragable: impossible to refute" and "remunerate: to pay an equivalent to for any service, loss, or expense" screams "Lawful" to me. (Not to mention "praxis: exercise or practicing of an art, science, or skill".)

I'm going with Boz's LN, even though he was put under undue influence to change his heart's desire. ;)

Fair enough. It's all open to interpretation. To me, renumerate strikes me as fitting any alignment--it screams "an eye for an eye", and vengeance is definitely popular among the CE demons and deities. :)

Irrefragable could also be seen as "so good at what it does, it can't be denied"...I'd say a CE balor is irrefragable in most anything it does.

I don't see why a chaotic creature can't demonstrate great skill--my CG character does pretty well with his longswords.

You can probably make the same argument against my statement on maelstrom, though. ;)
