Return to the Tomb of Horror. Anyone run this jewel in 3E?

Fellow En Worlders,

I'm doing some long term planning for the two campaigns I run and was wanting to run one of the many older modules that I (for whatever reason) didn't "get around to" in 1st ed or 2nd ed.

I remember buying this way back when & had plans to get to it, but it just never happened. I'd love to hear any advice on converting/running it that anyone might have.

I've run a little bit of it in 3e... I don' t know... if you're just playing for sheer hack n' slash...


I'm being very incoherent tonight...anyhow... what I'm trying to say is, conversion isn't all that bad at all, but you need to be a somewhat gifted DM to keep the players interested once you get inside the City That Waits... not a whole lot of NPCs there and it can kind of drag on... my group never erally finished and just sort of left.... I dunno.

Sorry if this didn't make too much sense...
