[sblock=Tactics]I'm leaving soon to travel for most of the day, but here's a suggested plan:

Rhole can slide Haruka to S14 via Virtue of Cunning when the dragon missed her, then the Swordsman to R15 via Advantage of Cunning, then try and pull the harpy to S16 with Cutting Words. Now both the harpy and swordsman is adjacent to Ikni, who can hit them both with Sword Burst without penalty despite immobilization and blindness.

I'm itching to unload Stirring Shout on the dragon, but I definitely feel the harpy is top priority due to its recurring multi-dazing, -immobilization, and -pulling that are disabling most of the team.[/sblock]

[sblock=ooc]Ikni can't take immediate actions while dazed anyway, so her mark isn't any better than Ironheart's until she unclogs her status line a bit. Overwrite away, if you like. Pretty much her only options are sword burst, if there are any enemies adjacent to her, or second wind. I would reeeeally like to take that harpy down...

The bowman can't shoot from its belly forever, can it?
I think she can. Even with that -4 she has a good chance to hit you, and if her bow is anything like mine it has a range of 20; there's nowhere you can go to escape her. We have to finish her, this turn if at all possible.

Dunamin: I think Stirring Shout on the dragon is for next turn. None of us are even planning to attack the dragon this turn (well, except me, but I fully expected to miss).[/sblock]

[sblock=tactics]Well, none of us around the harpy can deal with the archer this turn. It probably will need to be Ironheart who finishes her off, since us ranged folk will have a hard time hitting her while she's prone.

I think Sword 20 has about 16 hp left, which is more than a single at-will can be expected to do. I'd really like him to be dead before I go, but it's more important to take down the harpy.

Speaking of which, ren, when Ikni bloodied the harpy in this post which attack specifically was the one that did it? Was it the redirected attack from Sword 20, Ikni's own attack, or the ongoing acid damage?[/sblock]

[sblock=ooc]Thanks ren.

Well, shoot. So the harpy has around 30 hp left, which means barring very good rolls it's going to take a Fiery Bolt to kill her this turn. If we pull her in close, then we can catch her in the sword burst, but it also means that Ikni and Rhole will take the Fiery Bolt splash. And her effective Reflex is 18 right now, which isn't great for us.

Frankly, I'd rather spend the effort on someone I'm more likely to hit and kill, like Sword 20. If he becomes undazed then we're going to have some problems. By the way, my previous post should have said that he probably has at most 16 hp left. Dunamin, how about you slide me to R14, and then slide Sword 20 into my previous square. Then you can still pull the harpy in close, but the flanking position may be useful in the future, and it will be harder for the harpy to aoe us without hitting her ally.

My turn is most likely going to consist of me using Eyes of the Vestige on Sword 20 and either bouncing a little damage onto the harpy or cursing the panther, but I'm going to delay until after Ikni's turn.[/sblock]

[sblock=Tactics]
Ok, then, my plan is to mark the dragon and panther, then charge back over and finish off that bowman. I won't get to use any of my interrupts on the two marks since I'm out of range, but at least it's a hit penalty unless they follow me to the other side of the map.

Oh, wait - only the dragon's adjacent to me. I forgot I need to shift over there to mark the panther. Just the dragon then.

Rats. Well, we've got some breathing room there; her bone-the-whole-party ability didn't recharge last turn, so it's not imperative that we take her down before her next action. And Ikni pretty much has to hit the swordsman anyway, so we might as well build on that.

JNC: Yeah, that sounds like the right plan. If we're very lucky the dragon will follow you.[/sblock]

[sblock=Last tactics comment]I don't want to stall the game, so just one more thought from me:

I can slide Haruka away, but perhaps I should leave the swordsman and only pull the harpy 1 square. Ikni will only be able to hit the swordsman, but Haruka will have a shot at both with Fiery Bolt (without hitting either any allies).[/sblock]

[sblock=ooc]That's not bad, although I'm not wild at the possibility of taking 7 more damage on my turn (4 from the mark, 3 if I miss the power). And we still aren't very likely to kill the harpy, especially if she doesn't get included in the swordburst. I think you should just drag her close. We'll deal with the eladrin this turn, and then next turn we'll take down the bird.[/sblock]
