Rhole staggers from the dazzling assault, but he needs not sight to continue playing the Great Ultra-Intense Thundering Audio Ripper. Rock backs its master up with a stone-solid beat from its own trusty low-frequency instrument, and the two churn out a piece of high spirits and higher motivation.

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mu9xx5Ri278"]Majestic Word & Stirring Shout combo[/ame]

Ikniqpalagaq in particular is so stirred that she shrugs off her wounds and breaks through the harpy’s binding song-spell, if only temporarily. The music of Rock and Rhole seems to “coalesce” around the wind dragon, signifying the beginning of its end.

Free: Inform allies what Rhole recalled about their foes.
Minor: Majestic Word heals Ikni a surge and slides her to R15.
Standard: Stirring Shout vs dragon most likely misses when blindness is taken into account. However, you heal 5 hp whenever you hit it, for the rest of the encounter.
Minor: Deceptive Move (Familiar Ability) turns Rock invisible until end of Rhole’s next turn.
End of Turn: Rhole fails vs immobilization and saves vs blindness.

Ikni, propelled by Rhole's song, somersaults over her sword and somehow turns the momentum of her tumble into a sweeping circular cut that nearly severs one of the panther's legs before carving a deep gash in the dragon's foreleg.

[sblock=actions]The somersault is just fluff for the slide from Rhole. Ikni heals surge+5 if I'm not mistaken, yes? If so that's 15, bringing her to 19/43.

She uses sword burst again: 23 vs. Reflex vs Dragon for 10 force damage, and crit vs. panther for 11 force and 5 acid. Ikni gains 5 hp for hitting the dragon, putting her at 24/43 and no longer bloodied, if I understand correctly.

Is there a record for most crits rolled while blind, dazed, and immobilized? Ikni might hold that one for a while...

Still blind, not dazed or immobilized.

Ironheart doesn't even pause as the bowman goes down in a spray of gore. It spins around and leaps over the river yet again, charging blindly at the biggest target. Its blood-drenched axe sweeps around in a massive arc, but in its blind fury it lashes out too quickly and misses. Writhing tendrils spring from the ground at his every step, and when he halts they begin to entangle the dragon's claws.

Haruka closes her eyes as the wave of light washes over her. If you give me light, I'll give you darkness. Every light casts a shadow. She shivers as the shadowy tendrils unwrap themselves from around her limbs and slither out towards the harpy. They don't seem to take hold though.

She then frowns as she hears the snarl of the panther. Another one. Its time will come.

Derien's starting to get the hang of all this dazzle, he thinks. "Don't rub your eyes, just blink really hard!" Unfortunately, that's terrible advice.

The harpy continues playing her song and all but Rhole are affected. In the battle of the bands, she seems to be winning.

The panther disappears from view as a veil of mist appears around the dragon shielding it from view.

The dragon steps back and roars so loudly that it shakes Ikni, Haruka, and Ironheart to their cores. Rhole and Derien manage to withstand the dragon's attack however.
