The home owner intends to sue.
It's a crap lawsuit. And there's a possibility it was arson by the homeowner, if not negligence.
The owner put the bot on the counter, to clean up a mess.
He allegedly turned the bot off.
The counter was next to a flat surface Stove (NOT a HOT PLATE)
The family LEFT the house
The bot re-activated (if it was ever off, or it's default cleaning time kicked in)
The bot moved onto the stove surface and pushed a pot off a burner
Apparently, the burner was on, because that's how the fire started.
So, the owner seems to have left his home with a burner on the stove still on.
And he's claiming it is the bot's fault.
Now it is possible the bot bumped into a button/knob that turned on the stovetop, but there's no visible knobs/buttons in the usual places on the top of the unit.
