Roger E. Moore - the split-off Bond discussion

Does anyone know what happenrd to Roger E. Moore after Wizards took over TSR? The last mention of him that I can can find is "Demihumans of the Realms in 1999 for TSR. I was just curious if he was still writing, or had he retired. Thanks

I think he's 'bond' to show up at other cons, unless he's had 'the living daylights' scared out of him by gamey gamers. That'd be a shame, because 'nobody did it better' than Roger. 'It makes me feel sad for the rest'.

You know, it's funny that Niven made only that one spoof Bond film, yet he was Fleming's personal choice to play Bond. Well, Fleming wanted either Niven or someone like him. He also wanted his cousin Christopher Lee to play Dr. No.

I don't know about Roger Moore, but Gottfried John (of Goldeneye fame - he played General Ourumov) is the neighbor of my girlfriend's parents. Don't know if that helps, seeing that there's no 'bond' between Moore and John (and the only bond John had screentime with is Remington Steele...).
