Rogue 16th lvl Help

It means it's usually a standard action, except when the spell stored takes a longer time than that to cast. The quoted rules say so. One part specifically says standard action. The other says it's usually a standard, and then immediately afterwards goes on to say when it's not a standard action.
But it never directly addresses the issue of what to do with spells that are a free action to cast, so I do not consider it a "clear cut" case.

DM probably won't allow it because it conflicts with the core and it's not in the errata. Plus I've got DM bias. He was upset that I wouldn't let him be a kensai for another campaign. e_e so anything that would give me an advantage is out. He almost denied allowing me to have a cohort mount because just because of that. So it will probably be a standard action to cast with wands.

I'm going to go with Changeling Rogue 2/Rogue 8/Swashbuckler 3/Factotum 2. I get a lot more benefits from Factotum then I do with the temple Raider.

StreamoftheSky. You mentioned that there were more effective ways to get sneak attack with a melee Rogue. I know flanking and hiding, but sometimes this group gets greedy with the flanks and when there's one open, they'll either take the spot or put a summon there. So the blink thing is a MAJOR back up plan. I also know about hiding and hide in plain sight, but dipping into ShadowDancer takes too many feats, and my DM won't let me be an assassin due to the alignment restrictions he has set. I've read that there's a magic item that allows you to hide in plain sight but I haven't been able to find it.

With Blink they are denied their dex, and they have either a 50% miss chance or 20%. I have a weapon and armor that gets rid of the penalities--my 20% miss chance and the Armor bonus. I know that's a lot of money spent, I really wouldn't mind decreasing the price if you know a cheaper way.

DM probably won't allow it because it conflicts with the core and it's not in the errata.
[ame="http://www.amazon.com/Compendium-Dungeons-Dragons-Fantasy-Roleplaying/dp/078694725X"]Rules Compendium[/ame]

The definitive reference guide of Dungeons & Dragons(R) core rules.

Tired of hauling all of your D&D rules supplements to the gaming table? Having trouble finding the rule you need? The Rules Compendium supplement takes all of the game's most important rules and presents them in a single comprehensive, easy-to-reference volume for players and Dungeon Masters.

In addition to presenting the rules of the game, the Rules Compendium incorporates official errata as well as behind-the-scenes designer and developer commentary explaining how the rules system has evolved and why certain rules work the way they do.
You're DM's being a jerk. I'd suggest pulling a trick or two with core rules, but you can never really win against a DM. If reasoning doesn't work and, you should probably find a different DM. I don't see this turning out well.

That being said, you might find an Arcane Trickster or Master of the Unseen Hand fun.

Any suggestions at all would help.

Btw was thinking of making a blink dog cohort and possibly making it a Cleric/Temple Raider (Our parties Necromancer is going to be a stickler about healing so I need something to heal). My dm is allowing me to take speak language BlinkDog, and is allowing my Ring of Blinking--which I'm still debating--to 'sync' with my blink dog, allowing me to travel with it while it's blinking--I think this is in arms and equipment guide.

Just realized that we don't have Rules Compendium in our collection. =/ Is that ruling in the SRD might be able to convince him if it is?

Assuming we go Arcane Trickster, you can have Wizard 13 casting. This allows you cast Greater Blink, a 5th level spell, which does not inflict a miss chance on your own attacks.

Among other things.

Oh, and get rid of Power Attack. Waste of a feat for you.

Oh Power attack was from DragonBloodline--which I'm not taking anymore. Now that I think about it, I probably don't want to go Arcane Trickster because everyone in the party but the Monk is spell reliant. I would like to do some crazy things with wands and items though.
