yeah... that's why it isn't usually accepted by most DMs.

Staggering Strike from Complete Adventurer.

Quick Recon from Complete Adventurer.

Tunnelfighting from Races of Stone or Underdark

and some feat from the Psi book i can't recall right now are other possibles to take. but only Staggering strike and the one from the Psi book are offensive ones. Quick Recon and Tunnelfighting are more defensive.

Death Blow from Complete Adventurer is too weak.

If you wnat to increase SA damage, BoED has a feat that lets you do d8s instead of d6s (vs. evil creatures, and you have to be goody-two-shoes exalted), Expanded Psionics Handbook has a feat that lets you rerolls 1s on SA dice (keep the second result, even if another 1).

Depends on the campaign. If you are dungeon-crawling, no. If you are in an urban setting often, yes.

You might consider hamstring (CW) as as the already mentioned staggering strike (SA). Both work well with your spring attack. You can move in, cripple someone, and then spring out hopefully with enough distance to not let them attack you. Next round, rinse and repeat. Both require you to get sneak attacks off though.

The problem with deft strike is that it takes a standard action to set it up. Unless your odds of hitting are less than 50%, you're better off just making two attacks. Otherwise, in order to make it worthwhile, you need to use Power Attack or something similar to crank the damage on the one attack that you're sure will hit.

I'd recommend staggering strike instead.

Quickdraw is primarily useful if you switch weapons a lot or take the second feat (from CW IIRC) that lets you make a sneak attack when you draw and attack with a weapon. Without it, I wouldn't call Quickdraw a power feat for a rogue.

My character has a rogue blade (Savage Species). nearly all of my attacks are sneak attacks, no matter what.

hamstring sounds great, though.

With those feats, I'd take EWP:Spiked Chain.
The reach works well with Combat Reflexes and Spring Attack,
and it's finessable.
