(Fan will attemp to tumble within range to lay down his unbalncing strike)

Unbalncing Strike DC 14)

Tumble check for Fan is an 8, rolled a 1 on the roll.

Fan tumbles forward, but is unable to avoid the reach of the yari as the bandit tries to impale him but is unsuccesful in the attempt. Fan then spins and gives the bandit a vicious kick to the gut, causing him to fly backward onto his back, his eyes crossed.

Michiba fires a shot from his bow on the archer but his arrow goes wide, sailing over the archer's head. The archer returns the favor and is equally unsuccessful.

Fan rolled a natural 20 on the strike, but failed to get the threat roll, so a normal strike for 6 points of damage. The Bandit is at 0 hp. Michiba fires a shot after moving, but misses with a total roll of 8.

The second bandit weilding a yari steps forward and thrusts his yari into the side of Fan driving the sharp blade deep into his side. He twists it before drawing it out in a bloody display, that leaves Fan still standing, albeit, barely.

The bandit rolled a total strike of 20, and did 7 points of damage to Fan with his yari. The archer missed with a total strike of 11 on Michiba.

Kyuzo cover 40 feet as he moves forward to defend his ally, Fan. While Takane brings his naginata to the fore and moves forward 40 feet as well placing both himself and Kyuzo 50 feet from the bandit with the yari and Fan, while the archer stands 20 feet behind them.

Kaiji casts Castle of Water causing a wall of water to rise up in front of him, as he moves forward concentrating on the magical effect. Kaiji is now 60 feet from the bandit and Fan.

The archer cries out, "A Shugenja! We must flee or anger the kami!"

Next round, beginning with Fan.

Not going to die here....

Fan grabs his wound and crawls towards the other members of his team as fast as possible "Bandage...Please" he screams, surprisngly calm for his state. His world is cloudy too him, and he is dazing in and out as he waits for medical attention.

Kyuzo "runs" forward, doing his best to interpose himself between the one still standing bandit and Fan, if possible also blocking the archer's view.

Applying all the skills he painstakingly taught himself, Kyuzo draws his katana with lightning speed at the last possible moment to avoid getting skewered by the yari-wielder.

[OoC: If possible (depending on Fan's move) Kyuzo double-moves forward to get between the two, otherwise he runs. He quickdraws the katana on the way. If he can't get between them, due to the bandit's high initiative, he charges the bandit.]

The bandit with the yari sizes up the situation and scowls, seeing that they are outnumbered the two bandits both flee as Michiba fires another arrow which again sails wide of the two fleeing samurai.

Michiba rolled a total strike of 8

Takane arrives to find Fan clnging to his senses.

Fan is at 0 hit points, so is the bandit that was struck down by Fan, the two bandits are now 120 feet away running away at full speed through the high grass.

Feeling the wind across his face, noticing the grass sway before him, hearing the birds sing in the distance, and without thought the arrow leaves Michiba's bow and the arrow arches towards the fleeing bandit.

Michiba's arrow, flys true, guided by the skill he bears in his soul, the wind carries it, and his strength delivers the force of the Wasp itself, the bandit carrying the yari falls forward as the arrow sinks into the back of his head. A peerless shot, from nearly 240 feet away.

Michiba rolled a total strike of 23, and did 7 points of damage.

The other bandit continues to flee.
