Fan runs as quickly as he can to the fallen figure, examines if he is dead, while staying low in the tall grass. If he is not dead, he will attemp to knock him out.

Fan finds the body is already cooling the stranger is dead, once he is closer he makes out the figure is a man dressed in black, though he is unarmed.

An arrow sails out once more after fan ha sa chance to look the body over, the arrow grazes his arm and stick in the earth behind him, drawing blood.

Fan took 1 point of damage.

Fan can spot three figures, two have cheaply made yari, and are about 30 feet from Fan as they rise from the tal grass, one calls out, "You are in the wrong place monk, Shinshei cannot protect you from the justice of the Black Fan."

The third is about 20 feet behind them with the yumi in hand. Fan is about 60 feet from the rest of the group.

Initiative: Fan 23, Bandits (3) 22, Michiba 16, Kyuzo 13, Takane 11, and Kaiji 5.

If Takane is in charging range, Takane will draw his Katana and charge at the closest enemy.

If not, Takane will draw his Naginata and move towards the enemy cautiously.

Fan calls to group, ducking low and putting pressure on his wound. "We've got archers, 3 of them some 30 feet ahead of me" He begins to walk towards them slowly in a crouch, ducking behind the tall grass as best as possible. If he can get in range he will kick at an archers legs and attemp to unbalance him

Upon catching sight of the two yari-wielding bandits, Kyuzo moves forward to meet them, still not drawing his katana.

Fan moves forward slowly, though the yari give the bandits reach, and they may be capable to harm him before he can draw into range to attack them.

Is Fan moving within range to attack, the bandits have yari, and therefore have reach?
