Rome - Season 2. Starts tonight!

After a lull, with no new BSG and Heroes episodes since early December, TV worth watching returns this evening with HBO's Rome - the Second Season!!

I don't think Vorenus' kids are dead. Maybe sold as slaves, but dead? That would just completely shut down his character. I don't buy it. Could be the beginning of a mutli-season plot arc though.

I think this is going to be an interesting season, hehehe... Hard to be as great as the first, but it can still be really good.

I know... it's a shame the show is prohibitively expensive to produce. I'm all for a limited run that knows from the start exactly where it's going and ends there, rather than continuing on into a posthumous existence, but I think Rome has material for 3 very fully seasons, if not 4 (with more invention on the part of the writers).

Ain't that the truth. Last week's episode was pretty rough. One of the best shows on television IMO.

I'm liking this season more than I did last season....

Anyone know when Octavian is going to be married to Clodia Pulchra? Or are we going to skip to Scribonia, since Octavian returned Clodia to her mother in 'mint' condition?

Still so great. I wish the younger Octavian actor could have been used, his guile and brilliance was more convincing to me, but this is still good.
