Power Attack & Point Blank Shot

Power Attack because I hate the double damage bonus for Two-handers, and Point Blank Shot because it is basically extra damage and a stepping-stone to other feats.

HEIGHTEN SPELL [METAMAGIC]

Because this should be a feature inherent to spellcasting, like augmentation for psionics.

ESCHEW MATERIALS [GENERAL]

Because it is useless most of the time. Only useful in those "they have captured you and taken away your stuff" situations, really, the rest of the time it is generally assumed that you have the components at hand (unless it's expensive stuff, like diamond dust). Feats should have a tangible benefit most of the time, not just roleplaying stuff.

Spell Mastery and Improved Precise Shot

Spell Mastery: Won't even help all that much when your spell book DOES get stolen.

Improved Precise Shot: Worst core feat by design.

Rav

improved counterspell
combat reflexes

While I have seen people take the latter, I've never, ever, ever seen it come up in a game. It just is a worthless choice for a feat. And I've only ever seen counterspelling done a few times, and that was because I did it. :)

ENLARGE SPELL and WIDEN SPELL

Both of these are poorly named, and since the words 'enlarge' and 'widen' are somewhat synonymous, I am voting these two off because they are often confused for each other and also have the distinction of not being very useful.

No way. Got a 14 Dex? Get a longspear or become enlarged and get extra free AoO attacks!
