Of an invitation to a masquerade that never ends and is the end of all things. Of the bitter truths of Carcosa, The King in Yellow, and the Yellow Sign.

Sigil & Shadow by Osprey Publishing
  • SYSTEM: d00Lite system
  • PRODUCT TYPE: digest sized hardcover rulebook
  • RETAIL PRICE: $35
  • DESCRIPTION: Set in a mirror of the modern world, this game of urban fantasy and occult horror sees PCs take on the roles of illuminated heroes and shadowed monsters to face the rising tide of supernatural forces. Focuses squarely on the story rather than the mechanics - who the characters are and what they do, not how they do it. Easy to adopt to any mythos, campaigns can be built around a wide range of plots, with PCs taking the role of anything from paranormal investigators and monster hunters to members of occult cabals or secret societies.

Just as a general heads up for people: The Delta Green single adventures, like the one above, seem to get collected into compilation hardcovers once 4-6 get published. So, if you're interested in more than one, it kinda makes more sense to wait for a nice big hardback book (plus it's cheaper than buying them all separately).

Damnit. They got me. Bought Sigil & Shadow. This will be the fifth product from Osprey in about a year that I have been lured into purchasing with no ability to play and Seventh product overall in the last four years. Whatever they are doing over there it is working on me.
