It made its first appearance in D&D’s D&D's first supplement, Greyhawk, in 1975, and has since appeared in every edition of the Dungeon Master’s Guide. The Deck of Many Things 0th Edition is a powerful magical artifact that puts the regular deck to shame. Some of the 18 full-color card effects kill a character with no saving throw. • DESCRIPTION: SLA Industries (pronounced "Slay Industries") is a horror noir science-fiction setting set in a dystopian reality in which the majority of the known universe is either owned or indirectly controlled by the eponymous corporation SLA Industries. PCs play Operatives, highly-trained and well-equipped freelancers that serve as the company's agents, investigators and enforcers. PCs perform tasks not only to pay the bills, improve their standard of living, and for gear but also for an increase in their security clearance, progress up the corporate ladder, and for sponsorship opportunities. In the media-driven World of Progress sponsorships helps PCs gain what everyone wants: Notoriety. The game incorporates themes from the cyberpunk, gothic horror and conspiracy genres and is a science-fiction image of the 1980s, where the fax machine spews out information alongside green-screen computers and vat-grown biogenetic monsters. These monsters compete with humans and exotic alien races for work in an overgrown city that plunges deep underground. The second edition features an entirely new d10-based rules system. Ryuutama: Natural Fantasy Roleplay by Kotodama Heavy Industries
  • SYSTEM: Ryuutama
  • PRODUCT TYPE: digest sized core rulebook
  • RETAIL PRICE: $35
  • OTHER RELATED RPG NEWS: played it review
  • DESCRIPTION: Back in print. I GMed this virtually and it is a favorite rules lighter system with enough depth to support a campaign. PCs are travelers in a world without classical fantasy wizards and warriors. Instead, they are minstrels, merchants, healers, hunters, artisans, farmers and nobles who decide (or were fated) to leave their towns and explore the world. Adventures are travel-focused with villages and villagers featuring strongly alongside the journeys in between. The GM also creates a special character with its own unique character sheet, called the Ryuujin. The dragon Ryuujin watches over the other characters and can provide limited spells and abilities to support or further challenge them but mostly stays offscreen. Its abilities focus on one of four areas the GM wants the campaign to focus on such as combat or intrigue.

For those wanting info on MCC...

I recommend skipping it and using the Umerica supplements (Umerican Survival Guide, Umerica Unleashed, and more) for DCC. They're "more compatible" and frankly have better rules and character options if you're looking to do "Gamma World-ian post-apoc".
