Rules bits we already know

The gleemax post from srhall79 that you linked to also said this

So changes in alignment and 'level draining' creatures may be on the way?
Being srhall79, a little more that I remember: Andy's view was that XP are a way of measuring how well you're doing; if these get lost, it screws things up. His example was you might have a 13th level fighter and a 12th level wizard, but the wizard is 12th because he spent XP making items- items which now might make him more potent than the higher level fighter.

As I recall, Andy already uses a house rule where characters don't lose levels when raised, but just gain negative levels that last until they gain a new level. I could see something like this becoming core.

Interesting extra stuff, thanks Beckett/srhall79 :)

Here are a few that I found that aren't on your list. If they are I missed them, sorry. No links, but you can find them easy enough.

Saves to Defenses: C / Blog - Rick Baker
Reflexes, Fortitude, and Will save are "flipped" to an attacker based roll, rather than a defender roll, i.e. the attacker must meet or beat a Defense score rather than a defender rolling a save.

Roles: C / Video - Roles
Defender: stand on the front lines and hold back the monsters, protect the party.
Examples: fighters, paladins.

Leader / Healer:
Examples: cleric, warlord?, druid

Controller: there are many ways to control the battlefied, one of them is to drop a fireball over there.
Examples: wizard.

Striker: focus in on a target and deal as much damage as possible while moving around the battlefield.
Examples: rogue, ranger.

From the iconic classes. Fighter, Cleric, Wizard, Rogue. Multiple classes that can fill this role equally well. Example given: Druid is just as good of a healer as the Cleric. Combat roles more than anything. So Druids are obviously in.

Spells: C / Blog - Rodney Thompson
Wizards will be able to cast 25th level spells.

Vancian Magic: C / Video - Presentation
Vancian magic "almost" gone.

Preview Books: C / Blog - Rodney Thompson
Monster Manual 5, Star Wars Saga, Tome of Battle.

"ooks like Tome of Battle: Book of the Nine Swords and Star Wars: Saga Edition feature mechanical philosophies consistent with those of 4th Edition."

Tome / SAGA are 4th Edition Drafts: C / Video - Roles
"Tome of Battle: Book of the Nine Swords reflects and earlier draft of where we were in 4th edition. Saga Edition is a much more recent draft."

The above quote combined with the knowledge that saves have been flipped to defenses is good to know. I think[/] skills will be similar as well, but no confirmation as yet.

Must be, but my understanding os spoken English is somewat lacking. Could anyone please point out the most interesting bits?

Context implies the firebreathing happens when the dragon drops below half hit points, not just when the dragon's attacked.
