Gromm BigBottle "I've been here three rides. I can say not much is running around here. By the Rocks, not to many potion sales. Dry as a desert.

For personal combat I have a good strong axe arm. By the Rocks, I got a couple of alchemist booms I can throw. I can handle myself in a fight, but I'm no fighter. And I don't know much about fighting monsters at all.

If we move fast and travel lite, I think we should be fine. There are, I thinks, two traveling caravans here in town. If you want to travel with them. It will be slower. And much bigger targets then just the two of us. Either way is fine with me."

"Hmmm... I honestly think just the two of us will do, personally. My information I must get to the Duke is not the most pressing in terms of time, but it is important and I would rather get there sooner rather than later. Whenever you are ready, I am ready as well! I hope we can avoid danger and combat if possible, but if we must... I will do my best as well."

Gromm BigBottle "I'm almost ready. Just need to hammer a few things out. Gather up my stuff. Get my furs. Close out my room at the Inn.
Give me two hours. I'll meet you at the south gate."

Gromm BigBottle finishes his drink, pays his tavern tab and heads off.

"Aye, I'll see you there." I nod to him and stand, giving him space to work on closing out his affairs. Let's see... I suppose a wander around town couldn't hurt. Perhaps seeing if anyone needs help or if some firewood needs moving. Helping the people of our village should be good as well - perhaps I'll learn more of anything else I should cover with the good Duke when the time comes!

Rübendorf is a busy town, where someone is generally always working. Most accept a little help and are glad the chat a bit. The talk of the town does not mention much trouble, except some wolf and troll attacks out in the wilds.

Two hours later Gromm BigBottle is at the south gate, now all dressed in nice form fitting furs and holding a sharp axe.
