Talbin sets out to find a gnome by the name of Poto Knezer. He asks some people wheter they know the gnome and, if they do, where he lives.

ooc: I don't suppose one of the people he asked was Banion? Manzanita, what thread did we discuss Uncle Poto in? I can't seem to find it.

ooc: Well, not really but if Talbin get's any hint that these guys are familiar in this town Talbin would surely have. Talbin was actually send here to find Poto.

"There, now that wasn't so hard, was it? Now, I do have a few other questions for you. We'll start with the easy ones."

Beamer would like to ask Tharok what he knows about the humans named Lothar, also called Rafferty, and Sangster, also called Toler.

He also asks about the orc weapon Tharok was looking for.

OOC:
Yay! I thought Cure Blindness was a 3rd level arcane spell, but it turns out it is 2nd level and called Alter Self. :)

Edit: Updated Beamer for 6th level, the level I've been waiting for all along. Beamer just went from being able to cast five 2nd level or higher spells per day to ten 2nd level or higher spells per day. I hope everyone enjoys being hasted every combat, and I hope our enemies enjoy empowered ray of enfeeblements and magic missles. :)

ooc: Nodis is almost 6th level, the point when his constructs stop being just scary and they start becoming ludicrous. Hasted 4th level constructs sound even more ludicrous. Transferring half of hasted Razh's wounds to a hasted construct look even funnier. Now what I need to know is if we would level resting this night, and if spending DM points mid-adventure was allowed.

IC: The next morning Nodis awakens full of psychic energy and ready to spend it all. Only one obstacle stands in front of him: having lost track of what he was doing in the north in the first place. After all the orc jazz, he goes after Talbin: "Didn't we, back when we were at the sea, have a conversation about what we were going to do in the north?"

Hugh doesn't know Poto Knezer, but the first person local Talbin asks does. A stable boy bringing the group water tells him, "Mr. Knezer is a merchant and a trader. Owns a shop near the mill. Painted green and purple. Can't miss it. Of course, it's been pretty crazy these last couple days. I don't know where he'd be."

Does Talbin set off to find Poto Knezer, either the evening they arrive, or the next morning? We can assume Beamer & Banion heard Talbin asking around about Poto K.

Banion's background w/Poto K:
[sblock] I won't try to find it if you failed. It may have been by email or in the RDI. I'll summarize. Banion was in trouble after his last adventure & wanted to find a safe place to hide out, or even a powerful patron to protect him. He recalls the only exciting, supposedly powerful person in his family, his 'uncle' Poto Knezer. Said to be a half-gnome, half-halfling, Poto's exact relation to banion is not clear, but said to be half-brother to his father (or mother - whichever you want). He is said to be an influential merchant and wizard in Braeholl last you heard. Banion has faint childhood memories of him as mischievious, but kind.[/sblock]

"I know nothing of these men of which you speak." Tharok asserts. "I am a prisoner of war. I expect only death at your hands. You would fare no better at mine. But no games. You have won this battle. This nation will be conquored again by my people. We are the rightful rulers of this land. It may not be by my hand, but someday you will writhe under the hot brand of an orc!"
