Boral says, "It might be best if we just collect the most valuable items and head out of here. Who knows what other evil might have stirred during all of this."

Homer looks to boral and smiles, "On it boss."

Frank and Hank start to collect weapons and coinage as well, to speed the exodus."

By far the most valuable things here are the spiked flail and the black iron plate armor. Homer reaches out and grabs hold of the flail's grip when the cooling pool of magma that was just recently the Chaos Lord erupts into a column of fiery rock. Minute meteors shoot out from the column; one strikes Homer square in the chest and fells the unlucky halfling. Homer collapses and begins the not-so-lengthy process of dying.

Almost as quickly as it began the fiery column collapses back into a rapidly cooling pool of magma. Unfortunately, now a low rumble can be heard throughout the cavern gaining rapidly in volume. Stone slabs begin to peel away from the cavern's ceiling and fall into the underground sea. Waves crash up the sides of the ziggurat and the ship strikes the dockside heavily. Steam begins to rise from the magma pit as water begins to make its way through cracks in the ziggurat.

"Homer!" Cries Franko. Hank tries to apply first aid on the fallen money lender.
"Every one to the ship" Calls the scribe.

Siva drops down next to Hank and places her hands on Homer. She mutters some prayer that sounds suspiciously like 'now or never' and suddenly Homer is groaning and blinking his eyes trying to figure out what happened.

Stones continue to fall from the cavern ceiling and crash into the sea or hit the ziggurat. One comes dangerously close to the ship. Beastmen are shrieking and a few run pell-mell down the steps and dive onto the ship. Others cower and one unfortunate is flattened by a falling rock the size of a cart.

Narancasta snatches up the black iron armor and yells for the others. "The ship! Go! Go!"

OOC: Homer is at 2 hit points.

Tender also rushes towards the ship, keeping his sword and shield trained on the beastmen that fled aboard. "None of you try to shove off and maybe you'll live to see the next few minutes."

Kurl jumps into the boat soon after. "Ack! My hopes and my dreams; gone just like that!"

Out of the trio, Boral leaps in second and tries to prep the boat for departure. "Don't worry. I won't go until all our men are on board."

OOC: How many beastmen are inside the boat and how many are trying to pour on board still?

Franko and Hank helps Homer to stand and run, he in turn runs as fast as he can move after almost dying.

OOC: yikes! this sounds almost like Indiana Jones Adventures INC. !

Tender sees two beastmen, no, three, one is cowering under the seats. All of them seem too terrified to even think of giving the group problems. The other beastmen on the ziggurat-island don't seem to have given the boat much thought. Franko, Hank, and Homer clamber aboard a few seconds later and Siva and Narancasta just after that.

There is a mighty roar as the cavern collapses back towards the beach. Not long later a towering wave rushes towards the ziggurat. The ship is picked up and propelled with terrifying speed towards the distant cavern wall. Ahead, through towering whitecaps and the debris of falling boulders you see the mouth of a narrow cave. The dragon-prowed ship rides down the crest of the giant wave and shoots into the rocky throat, howling surf crashing all about you...

[sblock=OOC]So, this is the end. Really, the module ends right there. I hope you enjoyed it and thanks for playing.[/sblock]
