[Savage Species] ECL of Marid & Dao Genies?

Both of these genies can be found on page 173 of the Manual of the Planes.

What do people think of these ECLs:

Dao
Unbalanced Ability Scores: +2 (Due to +10 to str)
Natural Armor Bonus: +2 (Nat armor 8)
Reach: +1
Spell Like Abilities Exceed CR: +1
Spell Like Abilities At Will: +1

Level Adjustment: +7
Total ECL: 15

Marid
Very Unbalanced Ability Scores: +2
Natural Armor Bonus: +2 (Nat armor 8)
Reach: +1
Spell Like Abilities At Will: +1
Since Marid's limited Wish is 1/year I'm not adding to their LA.

Level Adjustment: +6
Total ECL: 17

Compare this to the following Level Adjustments.
Jann: +5
Djinn: +6
Efreet: +9

The best way to evaluate those is the acid test: add one level of the class you would most likely take with those powers/ability scores, and compare it to a human member of that class, with the same ECL. If the human's much better, decrease the ECL.

The bonus for the natural armor may be dropped to +1, since it's not that useful on those levels anymore. Also, the ability scores might still warrant only +1, at least with the DAO.

But as I said: test those ECL's and see how they compete to humans of their ECL, that's usually the best bet.
