SCI FI shows & movies ending on three fronts...in May.

I just notice this...STAR WARS *movie*...ends

Star Trek:Enterprise *TV*...ends.

Andromeda *TV*...ends.

All in May.

It doesn't matter the taste or style...just the fact, three sci fi genre are ending. Weird.

Another way of looking at this is that even though 3 genre pieces are over, there are *lots* more still on.

If we compare this to things in, say 1990, we are doing pretty good. Back then, three pieces ending would have been the majority of the market. As it is, it just makes people look foreward to Serenity & Season 2 of Battlestar Galactica even more.

Are they?

Star Wars is getting a TV deal and there is still games and stories to be told.

Star Trek rumors are out there of something new in the works? Give it a few years.

Andromeda, well; somethings need to die.

It could go either way. Nevertheless, the franchise will continue on your TV screen.

Part of me wished it had ended the season before, when I still hated Enterprise. Now, I hate to see it go. Damn you, Manny Coto, for making the 4th season more enjoyable to watch.

In a way, it's a relief. They spent the entire final season stuck in a pocket universe. That's about as exciting as watching a slug in a plate of beer drinking itself to death.
