Manous Artouche, Human Protecting Paladin 4

OOC: I honestly didn't keep track of Lucien's condition, so I have no idea how badly injured he is.
OOC: I have the same problem with Manous. I was hoping against hope that our gracious DM might fill in some blanks and tell us what our status was.

Tabitha wipes off her sword on a tablecloth and surveys the carnage with satisfaction. As the others split up to check for survivors, she gets an idea and heads behind the bar. There she peers and prods at the floor, trying to see if there's a trapdoor in it.

GM: No trapdoor behind the bar, but there are stairs leading down along the east wall.

GM:
A couple of surges should set most of you right. Manous and Lucien got the worst of it.

OOC: Lucien will use his surges then. How is that described IC? "Lucien does the happy dance and surges with renewed vigor?"

[sblock=Outside]A large mounted troop of Church Knights is riding into the yard--perhaps 25 men. At their head is Balthazar Amedi a vile man with no love for the Hounds. He is known to you as a man who has risen in station by stomping on others.

The fallen man in the yard is just getting to his feet. He attempts to bow to the Church Knights and topples over.

He turns to the man next to him, obviously second in command and speaks in a nasal voice. "What's this Gian, drunkards reeling about in the yard at mid-afternoon? Ah and it appears that the Hounds have been engaged in a tavern brawl this afternoon. Tsk Tsk, I'll have to report this to the royal household. This king will not be pleased I fear. Men, take a lesson from this. Gentlemen do not behave this way. Most disagreeable I must say."
