Searching For 2E Art work

I REALLY miss the artwork from second addition. It invoked a sense of "gaming." It made me feel like gaming, it had a good gaming aura about it.

I can't stand the 3e artwork. It sucks. Alot of the weapons and monsters stink, and I'm tired of looking at it. So basically, I'm trying to find 2e artwork, you know, like they had in the ph and such. Anyone know of a site or something I can look for this stuff?

Are you looking for scans of 2e artwork, or are you looking for sites with fantasy artwork that have the same "feel" as 2e had?

Have you tried googling the names of some of the artists? I would imagine you'll find at least some stuff that way.

Which would violate board policy because it's illegal; that's like looking for a scan of the phb. Seek elsewhere, young jedi.

And heck, why not just get out your old PH and look at the art?

You may wish to try the author' websites. I know that Tony Diterlizzi had some Planescape art posted.

That's always been one of my favorites. Give me some of the older style art work over this newer stuff. All those spikes and buckles and crap just turn me off. Larry Elmore rules!

I'm sure all those wierd costumes and wierd monster designs appeal to the newer generation and that's fine. It's just not my thing.
