Fouad, clearly upset by the article, adds, "Or we could meet up with the professor at the University. I saw him come in to work just before meeting you here."

A drizzle begin to pour from the endless blanket of gray stratus clouds.
In the distance, a faint siren of an ambulance fades to the morning gloomy weather.
People are extremely excited and tensions are high in London. Tomorrow takes place an important football derby match, Arsenal Vs. Tottenham.

"We're in a tricky spot, gentlemen," says Josh, his anger tightly reigned in, thus giving him a semblance of control. "We suspect a respected professor of being involved in a horrific deed, yet the only proof we have is anecdotal and circumstantial and none of us have any authority to do anything within legal reason."

"Now we could talk to him about what we suspect about what I saw," says Josh as he avoids using any names. "But, that'll just tip our hand and make him aware that someone knows, which isn't good."

"We're not a lynch happy vigilance committee, so we need more than righteous indignation, no matter how well place," continues Josh. "But, if we are caught in his house, we will be in the wrong, in the opinions of the law, unless we find something first."

"Is there anyone that we can all agree is trustworthy," asks Josh. "Someone we can tell that we are looking into this, so as to cover our own tails?"

Fouad looks the newspaper article over again. "If not for the press's pressure..."

He looks up, eyes bright. "How about this Mr. Hutchison? Perhaps he knows more than he lets on. He could at least tell us where the family of the boy lived."

To the newspaper

Closing his shop for the rest of the morning, Jack and Josh take a ride with Fouad’s (Howard’s) car to “The London Times”.

Arriving later that day, the three enters the main newspaper building, activity bustles in the lobby, people shouts to one each other and go from left to right, out and in. couriers, editors, reporters, journalists and others.
main staircases flank the main hall to the other floors where private rooms are.
A gigantic chandelier hangs from the domed glass ceiling. Around the walls are big framed photos of famous events: Charles Lindbergh and his plane after he crossed the Atlantic Ocean solo, The Kellogg-Briand Pact, also known as the Pact of Paris that ended the war are but few of the events.
A fat woman with big glasses and grumpy expression sits in the “information” counter in the entrance. She is chewing a gum and answers phone calls. A moment later she drops the phone, winks to Josh and say
Yeah ... what I can do for ya lads.
