Secrets of Xen'drik -- who has it?

Good question on the map/locations, I'm curious also.

Plus, the Quorcraft Warforged...is that a Quori Warforged or is the similarity of the name just a coincidence?

Looks solid! Are all the Adventure Sites mapped out on the Xen'drik map, or is it generally left up to the DM (like eberron campaign setting xen'drik)?

Both, some are well known sites, so are at a specific location, others are up the the DM.

A good example is the Coin Lords of Stormreach, One is a wanted murderer, one is an outcast from House Cannith, One is a Rakshasa and one is a follower of the Blood of Vol.

It is up to you which are which and if one or more are just rumors.

Not sure I am completely qualified to answer this since I haven't seen the book, but this is semi-covered in the Keith Baker novels.

It looks like the Warforged were "stolen" by House Cannith from Xen'drik. They ancient magic of the land had some interesting prototypes and the novels lead you to believe that Cannith learned the ways of creating warforged from somewhere on Xen'drik.

I assume that this is what the Quorcraft is. From the novels it looks like there should be some very interesting information about the warforged forthcoming.

This is an excellent book, with a ton of great ideas for Xen'drik. I wish it could have been twice as long... A pity this came out just a few short months *after* my Eberron campaign ended!

I am a bit disappointed there is no scale on the Xen'drik map. Am I just missing it, or does anyone know the scale?

That may very well be a deliberate omission. It's been hinted that Xen'drik's geography is anything but stable, and distances, terrain and weather distort and warp erratically.

Don't have it yet, but I wish it was out when my campaign was in Xen'drik; since the game is now set far to the north, other books take priority. I'll still probably pick it up in a month or two, and I look forward to putting the contents to use (such as the prestige classes- I'd been considering if a friend starts up a new Eberron game, I might try a Xen'drik drow fighter).

I'll readily admit that my interest in this book is to plunder its contents for material useful to enhancing my version of the island / continent of Hepmonaland in the World of Greyhawk. As such I've snipped out material that I initially thought might be helpful. I'm especially interested in all material related to the Yuan-ti as they play an important role in my Hepmonaland. How much of the material I've snipped below is treated with depth in the book? I don't need any information on the Drow or Giants, so material (feats, rumors, items, magic) specific to those topics is not especially helpful to me. I'm currently on the fence about whether to buy this book or not.

From the reports, I'll blow my cash on this and skip MMIV.

I think I'll do the same. From what I've heard of both, it sounds like SoX is the better choice. Plus then Faiths of Eberron next month? Good fluff for us Eberron DMs.
