The kinda sad thing is that I think where were a few legitimate uses for them, but the popularity of the fad essentially killed them.

I think if there were actual legitimate uses for them, they would’ve been used as such.

The best use of them was as a password (getting cut in half by a mono-whip) to a brain drive in "Johnny Mnemonic."

Those were just random screen grabs, not an NFT. Any group of random images from a live feed could serve the same purpose. Remember, the NFT is not the image itself.

And yes, good riddance to NFTs.
