ooc; is the door barred or locked in anyway? If not, CAN it be barred or locked?
Most likely it can, but you'd have to go up to the door to be sure, and movement might be risky right now.

The brute, agitated, glares over at the kobold then the group. "If that little runt of a familiar with tell me what we're look'n for, hand it over. We know the dwarf knows something about our marks, and we're going to get it!"

The kobold shakes his head. "It appears my employer is getting vexed. If you cannot convince us that you can give us the information we need, then I'm afraid you will not like the consequences."

All I can tell you right now is that none of what you're asking for is making sense to our employer. He simply doesn't recall what you're sure he knows. What led you to Aldus? Do you have some specific information that has you convinced he has this information? If so, what is it? Anything you can tell us will increase the chance that he understands exactly what it is you're after.

Sorry RL emergency, all is well now.

Mathew steps forward "Alright I have had enough. The problem here is not us. It is obviously the failure of this Kobold. I have dealt with sort before. Once he is out of the equation I think we will all be closer to what we want. Of course Sir if you like wasting you money by all means keep his service. But I assure you he will not find the information you want in 'The Inquisitor'. Please, if you could give me details about what you are looking for I am sure I know someone in my House that could get this information to you." Mathew points toward the door as to dismiss the Kobold.

Lorth thinks what Mathew says makes perfect sense. The only way to deal with people is through the blunt truth. Fancy words mean nothing.

[sblock=OOC] Hehehehe, gotta love the charisma penalty. At least Lorth isn't talking.[/sblock]

Remaining motionless upon Corran as he says his piece, Genithar actually cringes at Mathew's words.

Still, as he waits for their response, the elf adds, 'Perhaps you would allow us to adjorn to confer with our employer and amongst ourselves? No doubt we could easily procure the information you seek.'

Raising his intelligent eyes to gaze back at the kobald, the wizard fairly growls'Dire decisions should never be made in haste, no?'
