The [+] is to keep things positive and prevent the same tired old arguments about the OSR scene and OSR-style play. There are plenty of other threats to hate on games and play styles you don’t like.

There are a few people on here who play Shadowdark so I thought we should have a general thread about the game.

This summer I am developing a SD-compatible highly focused game. I am going to make a couple fundamental core changes (it will be classless, for one) but it is important that one can use SD monsters, spells and items with it.

I just released a Shadowdark setting book based (loosely) on Warhammer's Old World. I did a bunch of stuff for that bestiary and could probably contribute some inspiration. I did two page spreads by race and took some inspiration from the Monster Overhaul.

I’d suggest a new thread. But either way it’s a great idea. My first priority is usually monster design.

Yeah, me too, but for me monster design and encounter design are starting to be the same thing. Or at least more the same thing than I would have guessed they would end up being.
