What's the best way to start a Shadowdark playing community at a games store? Any ideas are welcome.

What's the best way to start a Shadowdark playing community at a games store? Any ideas are welcome.

Does your store have a bulletin board to post signups on? Some of the FLGS near me have that, others just seem to host games for products they sell (5e, PF2e), so it might be worth talking to the shops in your area to see how they handle things like that.

I know he did an RPG soda, Dungeon Slimes, but I don't recall a cup. Given that he apparently holds the records for most RPG products on Kickstarter -- 116 so far -- many of them with unusual formats, if someone has done an RPG cup, @philreed is a pretty good bet.

And it has filters for the Monsters from CS 1/2/3. I thought the Cursed Scrolls were not as 'open'?

I only ask as I had looked into Boats and all that before and was hoping with the new Western Reaches that stuff would fall under the license (and new weapons?) so I could use it without just a 'See CS 2' kind of thing.

I'll eventually be putting boats into Ashalom (which I realized when I read you post). We should all put our heads together here and gin something up. My mechanical stuff is all ccby4, so me using it in the book won't stop anyone else from using it too.

Lemme go take a look at CS2 and noodle on it for a bit.

My taste in boat systems is much like my taste in star ship systems, I like versions where more players can have meaningful actions and decision to make most rounds (outside of ranged attacks). So I'll be looking for something beyond 'this is how many HP a boat has and how fast it goes'.
