Shadows Descending - Part 1

Grym stays well away from Slizz, having heard that the race has a predilection for warm, bloody dog meat.

He might have decided to throw his lot in with this ragtag band of 'heroes' but he wasn't yet necessarily comfortable with the decision.

OOC: No, I didn't forget about the other meeting. Not entirely. :P

Anderos and Bendith

As the rest of the party leaves the tavern, The Black motions for Anderos to stay behind. Bendith stays with him. “Kallenvor told me about your kids. They are safe, for now, I got agents keeping an eye on them all the time. Would you mind if I read the letter you got?” You hand it to him, and he reads it before handing it back. “If what Moybau says is indeed true, I suggest you go to this meeting and listen to what he says. Good luck Anderos.”
You both head to the ShadowDancer, Bendith remaining invisible and watching Anderos back. You soon find it, and old abandoned tavern that used to be semi-popular a few years back. No-one really knew what happened to it, but one day it was closed, and it never opened again. The front door is open, and you cautiously enter. Inside you see the big main-room of the Tavern. It is empty, except for a lone three-legged table in the middle of the room. You approach the table, and you see a light-grey vial and another letter.

So you decided to team up with the Black and the Golden, did you? Well, it does not matter. It seems that their and our goals are similar. Investigate this temple, and keep your eyes open. One of my agents will contact you before you report back to the Black. Tell him everything he asks of you, and I assure you, he will want to know details about the temple.

The vial contains enough anti-dote to cure one of your kids. You will get the second dose when you have accomplished your mission in the temple.

Sincerely yours.
Moybau.

on the way out to the meeting place, about 10 minutes later - Andros will read the letter out loud, then shred it.

" If he thinks I am just going to give this to one of my kids .. Bendith, Karst I am assuming this Moybau is a shadow agent - which means the temple is not, but it is wanted by both sides, any suggestions to clue our compaions in on this without giving away the farm?"

You should be straight forward and honest with your companions and your opposition to the shadow.

Yeah, like thats going to happen.

Bendith shrugs. "You have to investigate the temple regardless. So we do that, then we find this Moybau, kill him, have him raised, and explain that unless he gives up the rest of the antidote, we'll kill him again."

"I've some experience with poisons - I might be able to tell you something about what's in that bottle?"

Grymsnarl Blink Dog Rogue

Grym lies beside the waymarker, rolling into a ball and tucking his head down for a nap "never know when the next opportunity for a good sleep will arise" he thinks to himself "Wake me when we're ready to go" he yaps to his friends.

OOC: I assume you are all gathered at the outskirts of the forest. Do you wish to go to the temple now, or is there any changes in the plans?

"The sooner we get to the temple, the sooner we might be able to maintain the balance that is about to break," Torsak says as he eyes the rest of his companions. "We were chosen for this task, so I say we get moving and be done with it."

Are you leading the way Grym?
As we walk, Andros will talk to each companion, trying to find out a little about them. Begining to compose a few lines of verse about each, should it become necessary.

Siam - Catfolk Warlock 9

"I agree. Lets get moving before they find us all just sitting here. Vengeance is at hand." With this I will slowly and carefully move my way toward the temple - I hope someone more skilled in the forests will soon take the lead.
