I am not too keen on the idea of half-ogre but post the details of the template. It does not sound too bad. :uhoh:

As far as the Sequestered Cleric. I initially do not have a problem with it. I will have to take a look at it as I would hate to have you shoot yourself in the foot! :)

I am liking what I see here, so I will open it to 4 people. :D

Now we have to figure out what type of characters and campaign you want to do. You can talk amongst yourselves. When I see what I like I will select the players and the campaign.

As I have mentioned up thread I will be on a business trip for the next business week and may not have access to internet during this time. I will be able to post some tomorrow, and possibly Sunday.

If there are 8 legit characters that come out of this, would you be interested in doing two games of four? Just curious ... I always hate to see good players wanting to play not being able to. Of course ... that could be me - so I'm protecting my own interest here! :heh: ;)

Anyway, are we a go at 3rd level?

If so, starting gold?

Depending on the gold ... are we allowed magic items and if so, from any particular source? [DMG only, DMG & complete, or unrestricted?]

Just curious...

It isn't too bad, and here are the details:

Size and Type: The base creature's type does not change. If the creature is of Small or Medium size, it gains a a size category, becoming Medium or Large respectively. See Table 4-2: Changes to Statistics by Size in the Monster Manual for changes to the base creature when it gains a size category. The changes in this template are in addition to the changes outlined here.
Speed: If the base creature's size increased due to teh application of this template, its speeds increase by 10 feet.
Armor Class: The base creature's naturl armor bonus improves by +2.
Special Qualities: A half-ogre has all teh special qualities of the base creature, plus the following special quality.
Darkvision (Ex): A half-ogre has darkvision to a range of 60 feet.
Giant Blood (Ex): For all special abilities and effects, a half-ogre is considered a giant in addition to the base creature's type and subtype. Half-ogres can use magic items with racially specific powers as giants.
Abilities: Change from the base creature as follows: Str +4, Int -2, Cha -2.
Level Adjustment: Same as the base creature if it did not gain a size category, otherwise same as the base creature +1.

HP: Max for First Level and roll for hitpoints after first (Half or greater)
Pretty much anything WotC is good! Anything else you will want to run by me first!

Sheilika, the Human Soulknife:

Sheilika is a young girl from Riedra on the continent of Sarlona. What she does on Khorvaire is not known. In fact, she is not entirely sure why she is there herself. She was brought up in a noble family totaly devoted to The Inspired. When she was about ten years of age, her first psychic abilities started to show. At first, she did not think any of it, her parents were both acomplished psions, after all. It was not untill her twelth year that she realized that her abilities differed from her parents. Where they were able to do all sorts of things, what Sheilika was able to do was bring forth a small dagger out of nothingness. She tried to hide the fact from her parents, embarrassed that she would never become as good as they were to manipulate the forces of the mind. At fifteen she ran away. That was when she met Moulan, an agent of The Thousand Eyes. She was taken under Moulans wing, and soon she was able to control her powers over her MindBlade (as Moulan said it was called) more properly. Now, at age ninteen, Moulan took her to Khorvaire, presumably on a quest for The Thousand Eyes. Moulan left her to her own a few weeks ago, telling her "Stay put dear Shei. I will be back soon, and then we will do what is needed of us. Be safe." But she did not come back, and Sheilika is now on her own.

The young girl usually wears clothes of dark purple, bordering on black. Her dark hair is cut short, and her eyes are usually downcast around strangers. She is shy and not talkative with people. With the few people she considers her closest friends (Like Moulan), she is as an open book, though. For her friends, she would do anything. In combat, she still got a lot to learn; her training with Moulan was far from finnished when they left Riedra, but she tries her best.


If anyone want to work on a story together, it is likely that Sheilika have met some new people the last weeks, after Moulans disapearance, and that she has gained a friend or two in that time.

A quick question for those who know the rules well...

How does the Augment Summoning feat affect Swarms? Does it count as a single creature, raising the stat block of a swarm of rats up to Str 6 and Con 14? A gain of 2 hp and +2 Attack/Damage? I'm lost.

Okay, cool. I was a bit confused about the duration, as well. Does that mean it lasts as long as I can maintain Concentration on it +2 rounds? What's the DC of a COncentration check without distraction due to the issues listed? Does it automatically succed if I concentrate without interruption, effectively making the spell's duration limitless?

Also, can I affect the swarm as normal animals with a Handle Animal check? If not, what's the chance of me getting a spell with a similar effect to Calm Animals as a Wizard spell? Even if it only worked on rodents, that would be a big help if a swarm went nuts on me or my companions.
