D&D General Should The Pcs kill A Succubuss that's around 1,600 years old, which is The Succubus equivalent of A very smart 9 month old Baby?, or should they not?

Unless your demons are something other than what demons are in most games - my character wouldn't care about the details, if it's knowingly a demon in ANY form, kill it now. I wouldn't thoughtlessly kill any living being even of a socalled "evil" race - depends entirely on circumstance, but a demon is an entirely different issue. It's not a living being in the normal sense - it's a demon. Kill it. Besides, I've read your posts, I'm not missing any details, it's still a demon, right? That's the only detail worth note.
I've answered this in a later post but I'll give you a answer, its true that not once in the worlds history has even a single Succubus been redeemed, but the thing that most people don't know is that because of how many people hate Succubus not 1 person in history has ever even tried to redeem A Succubus, which means that for all people its possible, and with 1 as the young they'll get their hands on if it is possible to redeem A Succubus then it will definitely be easy, maybe even very easy, to to redeem A Succubus that's The Succubus equivalent of A Very Smart 9 month old baby, but because of how many people hate Succubus not 1 person in history has ever even tried to redeem A Succubus

PCs should do whatever the players decide they should do. I'm guessing English is not your first language? The word should is maybe not the word to describe what you are trying to ask about.
Oh, no. OP claims English is their first language, but they once spent several years teaching themselves to write it in a different way out of boredom and now can’t break the habit of writing in that way.

A grey scenario is not one where ALL YOUR CHOICES ARE WRONG. That would be a black and black scenario.

A grey scenario is one where none of your choices are WRONG.
Black black ending is also a niche genre, all this depend on what players base their satisfaction. We have black black genre in zombie apocalypse scenario, or gore horror where right from the start we know that is gonna end bad anyway.
What is counterplay is when the DM purposely steal satisfaction from his players to satisfy his own.
it is cool when the DM setup confrontation inspired from Batman vs The joker setting. Where the joker try to place Batman into black black ending and choice.
It is not cool when the DM himself start to think and act like the joker.
